DTF Hot Melt Powder Description
Application in DTF Printing: In DTF printing, the adhesive powder is applied onto the printed design on a film substrate. When the design is transferred onto the target substrate using a heat press, the DTF hot melt adhesive powder activates and bonds the design to the substrate, creating a permanent bond.
Activation by Heat: DTF hot melt adhesive powder is activated by heat during the transfer process. When subjected to the appropriate temperature and pressure, the powder melts and bonds the design to the substrate, ensuring a strong and durable adhesion.
Compatibility with Various Substrates: DTF hot melt adhesive powder is formulated to bond effectively with a wide range of substrates commonly used in DTF printing, including cotton, polyester, blends, and other fabrics. DTF Powder Application
Printing the Design: The first step in the DTF process involves printing the desired design onto a DTF film using a compatible printer and DTF inks. The design is printed in reverse, as it will be transferred face-down onto the target substrate.
Application of DTF Hot Melt Adhesive Powder: After the design is printed on the DTF film, DTF hot melt adhesive powder is applied over the entire printed area. This powder serves as the adhesive that enables the transfer of the design from the film to the substrate.
Shaking off Excess Powder: Excess DTF hot melt adhesive powder is then shaken off the film to ensure that only the necessary amount of adhesive remains on the printed design. This step helps prevent excessive adhesive from affecting the transfer process.
